Understand the document first
After signing in, choose a target language and upload a supported file. Localizer checks the file and identifies its text type, subject area, audience and tone. The document profile helps identify specialist requirements and terminology research needs, guiding the work that follows. You can add requirements such as a preferred form of address or mandatory terminology.
Choose what to translate
For multilingual documents, translate all passages that are not yet in the target language or select specific source languages. For example, translate German passages within an English document into English. Unselected text and existing target-language passages are preserved and remain available as context.
Review the profile and price
Before ordering, you see the document profile, confirmed translation scope and your individual quote with a binding price ceiling. Translation begins only after you accept the quote. Your language selection and specific requirements are part of the order. You also choose whether relevant subject-matter questions should be referred to you for a decision.
Translate, revise and check
We use carefully selected language models adapted to each task. New models and methods are extensively tested and evaluated by linguists before release. For your order, Localizer uses document context and, where needed, terminology research. Translation is followed by language revision and automated checks for fidelity and consistency.
Resolve subject-matter questions clearly
If you allow questions and a subject-matter decision is needed, you receive the relevant passage and a clear explanation. You can answer, return later or involve a specialist through a protected link. Your progress is saved, and the same order resumes after your decision.
Continue working in the original format
Receive the translation as a downloadable file. During export, Localizer checks document structure and protects elements such as formulas and technical content according to the file format. Images are not translated. Different text lengths may require adjustments to page breaks, text boxes or tables of contents in the original application.
Time for each processing step
Specialist preparation, terminology research, translation, revision and checks take place in several steps. This can take longer than a single text translation; length, complexity and system load affect turnaround. You can close the browser and return to your saved order later. The status shows progress or a decision that needs your attention. The delivery deadline in your accepted quote is binding; other time estimates are indicative.
An automated service with clear limits
Translation and quality checks are automated. Human translation, specialist human editing and certification are not included. Check the result for your intended use, especially when legal, safety-related or other consequential decisions depend on it.
